Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2025

Privacy Terms of Service Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide analytical information to website operators. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy.

2. How PazaLabs Uses Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Ensure the website functions correctly and securely
  • Remember your preferences and settings across sessions
  • Understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on page, traffic sources)
  • Improve the performance and content of our platform
  • Support our marketing and outreach efforts (only with your consent)

We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising, build personal advertising profiles, or sell data to data brokers.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

Cookie / Technology Type Purpose Duration
Session cookie Essential Maintains your session state while navigating the site Session (deleted on close)
Security token Essential Protects against cross-site request forgery (CSRF) Session
Analytics (page views) Analytics Measures pages visited, referral source, and time on site. Used to improve content and UX. Up to 13 months
Analytics (events) Analytics Tracks button clicks, form interactions, and scroll depth to identify friction points Up to 13 months
Preference cookie Functional Remembers your cookie consent choice so we don't ask again 12 months
Local storage (UI state) Functional Stores UI preferences (e.g., menu state) locally in your browser Until cleared

4. Essential vs. Optional Cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for the website to function correctly. They do not require your consent and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. These include session management and security tokens.

Analytics and functional cookies are optional. Where required by applicable law (e.g., GDPR/ePrivacy), we ask for your consent before setting these. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser cookies or using the controls described in Section 5.

5. Managing and Disabling Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View what cookies are stored and delete them individually
  • Block third-party cookies by default
  • Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being set
  • Block all cookies (note: this may break essential site functionality)

Common browser cookie controls:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Apple Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Disabling analytics cookies will not prevent you from using the PazaLabs website, but it will reduce our ability to improve the experience for all users.

6. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Our website does not currently alter its behaviour in response to DNT signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for interpreting them. We rely on your explicit cookie preferences for analytics cookies instead.

7. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party analytics providers (such as privacy-respecting analytics tools) that set their own cookies. These providers are contractually required to use your data only to provide services to PazaLabs and not for their own advertising or profiling purposes. We do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or other advertising-network tracking technologies on this site.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes or as new regulations come into effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
